On 19 November, volunteers from the NGO Y tú en África travelled to Senegal with supplies for treating a complex ulcer on the lower limb of a patient treated at their rural clinic in Casamance. After an initial assessment of the patient, we have organised an initial shipment of advanced wound care dressings and will be collaborating with the local healthcare team at Y tú en África in monitoring the patient.
